About the Neighbourhood
Mount Pleasant East is a midtown Toronto neighbourhood that feels like a tranquil community. Many buyers with children choose real estate in this area due to its family-friendly residential streets and parks. Mount Pleasant East and West are both named after beautiful Mount Pleasant Cemetery, which attracts visitors from all over the city. The area is bordered by Bayview Avenue to the east, Mount Pleasant Road to the west, Blythewood Road to the north, and Mount Pleasant Cemetery to the south. Sherwood Park adjoins Mount Hope Cemetery and fills a large part of the neighbourhood with plenty of green space to explore. Shops, restaurants, and grocery stores are walkable for convenient shopping and dining. It is a great neighbourhood for discovering the outdoors, while remaining a quick commute from downtown.
